David Walding

David is the founder of Hill Country Lobos, established in 1996 (originally Galaxia SC) to help integrate unaccompanied minors into the local community through soccer. A longtime advocate for immigrant families in Central Texas, he later founded the Lobos Immigration Project, inspired by his personal experience as guardian to children from El Salvador and the challenges they faced within the U.S. immigration system. Through both initiatives, David focuses on creating accessible pathways, player-first development, and compassionate, culturally grounded support that expands opportunity on and off the field.
